Settle down in front of the woodburning stove with an abundant supply of our locally sourced wood to keep you toasty warm during your stay.
There's also a farmhouse style table for you to make use of and you'll find hanging space for coats, etc. under the stairs. Look out for a few quirky features.....
We can't promise you a state of the art kitchen, but you will have a flat bed microwave, air fryer, toaster, hot plate and slow cooker. You"ll also find glasses, crockery and cooking utensils with a supply of tea, coffee and sugar. Oh, and there's a small fridge hidden behind an original feeding door into the barn. In addition, there's a cool box with ice packs for additional food or drink storage.
The bedroom has a double bed with Egyptian Cotton bedlinen. There's plenty of storage and hanging space as well.
A set of french doors opens out to a small balcony where you can admire the beautiful local scenery, or just enjoy a glass of wine........
The ensuite shower room is probably like one you won't see anywhere else. The shower is tiled with slate tiles and has a custom made shower tray and a vintage glass screen. The shower screen support came from a fallen tree on our ground, as did the wooden counter top. Soft and fluffy Egyptian Cotton towels complete the picture.
A steep set of steps from the bedroom (which are not suitable for the less able bodied!) leads into a light filled room with open roof trusses. It's a quiet area to relax in and there's a desk if you really need to catch up with work.
Tŵr-Ffoledd doesn't have an enclosed garden, but there's a picnic table and barbecue for your use, behind the property in our grounds, where you can relax and enjoy the rural views, glorious sunsets and dark starry skies.
We''re surrounded by open countryside, and the Epynt Way can be accessed at the top of the drive too.
However, we're in a sheep farming area so, if you have a dog, it's vital that your dog is kept under control at all times.
